Beannacht – by John O’ Donohue

There is no doubt in my mind that John O’Donohue was a man who held the ancient and modern in two hands. John O’Donohue landed the wonder of the Celtic Imagination in the contemporary and to that end I admire him. He may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but the challenge for me is to find ways of expressing the vitality of Christ in the creation in ways that imbibe the fervour of the past and re-imagine the future.
